Indianapolis will be one of six stops on the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Road to Rio Tour ahead of August’s Olympic Games.
The tour stops in Indy on June 24-25, coinciding with the U.S. Olympic Trials in diving at the Natatorium at IUPUI.
The tour features meet-and-greet opportunities with athletes, interactive sports elements, athlete demonstrations, Team USA giveaways and live entertainment.
Noblesville’s David Boudia, an Olympic champion diver and Purdue graduate, will be among the athletes appearing in the 100-day countdown event April 27 on NBC’s “Today” show and at New York’s Times Square.
Other pre-Olympics stops are Oklahoma City, Okla., May 7-8; Philadelphia, July 4; Chicago, July 6-10, and Los Angeles, July 23-24.
