AAI Award Finalist, NCAA National Champion, SEC Gymnast of the Year, SEC Champion, Colombian National Team Member

Luisa Blanco is entering her 5th year at the University of Alabama where she is an absolute powerhouse and fan favorite in gymnastics. She is known for coming through in high pressure moments and has numerous accolades to her name. Currently, she holds the career record for most 10’s on the balance beam, qualified as an individual to the NCAA Championships and brought home the Silver medal on bars, is a 7x All-American, AAI and Honda Award Finalist, and 3x Scholastic All-American.

Being a first generation American and excelling in both school and sport is something Luisa is extremely proud of. She is fluent in both Spanish and English and is a fierce advocate for the next generation of Hispanic youth.

Most recently, she announced her plans to train towards the 2024 Olympic Games for Colombia. She holds dual citizenship as both her mom and dad are Colombian and was officially announced to the Colombian National Team in July.
