BACKGROUND
At the age of three. Skye discovered her passion for gymnastics and has since become a dominate force in the world of gymnastics. Achieving numerous accolades and earning the title of 2x World Champion, her journey is nothing short of remarkable and marked with perseverance, commitment, and hard work.
Skye is committed to the University of Florida where her sister, Sloane, is currently enrolled and competing on the gymnastic team as well. She has deferred until the Fall of 2024 to train towards the Paris Olympic Games.
Most recently, Skye was named to the 2023 World Championship team where she helped Team USA bring home Gold.
Outside of the sport, Skye enjoys hanging out with her family, friends, and dog, Syrus. She also hopes to make a lasting impact in the sport of gymnastics that transcends her accolades and emphasizes the importance of teamwork, discipline, and dedication. She was in the National Honor Society and the Black Student Union while in high school that allowed her to stay connected and volunteer within her community.
