It wasn’t a strike but Remsen’s Olympic medalist Erin Hamlin made the ceremonial first pitch into the glove of NY Met Curtis Granderson at the start of Thursday’s afternoon game against St. Louis.
Hamlin, who became the first American to medal in an Olympic Luge event, took the bronze at the Winter Games in Sochi earlier this year.
