Adidas has honored Kendal Coyne Schofield with her very own shoe! One pair has been given to the Hockey Hall of Fame to commemorate her historic feat. The shoes feature the words “Breaks” and “Barriers” emblazoned onto the black and white shoes, which pays homage the black and white 2019 NHL All-Star jerseys. Additional design details include stars and stripes to signify her Olympic Gold medal, five World Championships and 10 years playing for the U.S. Women’s National Hockey team. The finishing touches include her blazing time (14.346) and the date (01.25.19) from the Fastest Skater competition laser-etched on the heel of one shoe, and her signature and Team USA jersey number (26) on the other shoe.
